Risk disclosure
Leverage works both ways.
Forex and CFDs are leveraged products. Read this before you trade, and trade only with money you can afford to lose.
Draft. This is the draft for the layout; the legal team supplies the final wording.
Leverage in numbers
A 1% move against a position at 1:100 costs your whole margin. At higher leverage, a smaller move does the same.
Leverage multiplies losses
Leverage lets you hold a position much larger than your margin. Gains and losses are counted on the full position, so a small price move can use up your margin quickly.
Prices can jump
Markets can move sharply on news, when trading opens after a weekend, or when there are few buyers and sellers. A stop loss closes your position at the first available price, which can be worse than the price you set.
Crypto moves faster
Crypto CFDs can swing much more than currencies or indices, and they trade every day, weekends included.
Costs add up
Spreads and commissions reduce your result, especially when you trade often or hold positions for a long time.
USDT and blockchains
USDT is a stablecoin issued by a third party, and its value can move away from one US dollar. Blockchain transfers can’t be reversed, and a payment sent to a wrong address or on a wrong network can’t be recovered.
No advice
AXIS doesn’t give investment advice. Nothing on this site or in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell, and past results don’t predict future ones.
Technology can fail
Your connection, your device or our systems can slow down or fail, which can delay an order or stop it from going through.
Negative balance protection means a stop out can’t leave you owing us money. You can still lose everything you deposited.
